Training and Placement Cell

Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of the institute. The institute has provided complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programmes. The cell keeps on invites various industries and reputed firms for campus recruitment. It modules the engineering &  management grades to young corporals. The cell is sensitized to function all through the year towards generating placement and training opportunities for the students.

Reputed industrial houses across the country visit our institute regularly for the campus recruitment programmes. The placement cell coordinates quite well with the corporate sector and provides well-developed infrastructure to facilitate the campus selection programmes. The cell maintains a very cordial relationship with all the recruiting industries and also prepares the recruited candidates to face the competitive world.

Introduction

The College  has its own Training & Placement cell. It facilitates the  students  of the engineering &  management grades of the college for the placements in various national and international organizations in the corporate world, Public Sector Undertakings etc. through campus selection process..

Aim

The main aim of the placement cell is to act as contact place and facilitator to arrange campus visits and conduct of recruitment process of the prospective employers for the purposeful placement of  students of the college. The cell also seeks opportunities for the betterment of institute and industry interaction through participation in institute-industry-interaction programs and by inviting experts from the industry and related fields to deliver guest lectures on various aspects and also provides guidance to students for their better placement and careers.

Procedure

Perspective employers intimate about their human resource and other requirements to the cell. The desired information are then compiled and sent to them on an earliest possible. After consultation, a mutually convenient date is agreed upon to conduct the selection process  at the college . Accordingly, concerned students participate in the selection process at the stipulated date and time .

Facilities

For the selection process being conducted at the college Campus , the members of the visiting teams are considered as guests and are provided with free boarding & lodging facilities in the college  guest house including other local hospitality.  Based on the nature of selection process all arrangements for On Line Test, Multimedia Presentation for Pre–Placement Talk, Written Test, Group Discussion, Personal Interviews etc. are made available.
