The cutthroat competition at all levels in the job market demands a support system that enables the students of an institution not only to attain academic excellence but to find a comfortable placement and pursue their entrepreneurial career. The Training & Placement Cell (TPC) of Baderia Global Institute of Engineering & Management (BGIEM) plays a penultimate role in guiding the students to various openings suitable to their competency, skill and personal choices and this centre also provides career counseling at the institutional level for their career progression.

The TPC in Baderia Global Institute of Engineering & Management (BGIEM) addresses both the academic and career concerns and inculcates a positive attitude and a value added service to the students and it focuses on areas of campus interviews, job placements and training programmes for our students that enables them to develop proper mindset for a smooth transition after their education in institution through a carefully designed process of preparation and execution followed by required review.

The TPC of our institution is a dynamic body functioning to provide wholesome development to our students and empowering them to create new opportunities of their own, accelerating their growth and reaching new heights of success.

  • Palo Alto Networks Academy-: Palo Alto Networks Cyber security Academy exists to equip students with skills and knowledge for successful careers in cyber security. Palo Alto Networks Education Services provides a wide portfolio of role- based certifications aligning with Palo Alto Networks’ cutting-edge cyber security technologies. Palo Alto Networks offers an enterprise cyber security platform which provides network security, cloud security, endpoint protection, and various cloud-delivered security services.
  • Blue Prism Academy-: “Intelligent automation training, certification, and community programs for everyone” Elevate your product knowledge and RPA technical skills. Blue Prism’s effort to spread RPA knowledge and capabilities around the globe. Blue Prism’s Academia program brings Blue Prism skills into the classroom to inspire young thinkers.
  • Seed InfoTech, Pune-: An ISO 9001:2000 company, with 18+ years of experience in training, research, development and staffing. SEED is well-known company in the field of IT trainings, Soft Skills, Technical writing, foreign language and other specialized training to students and corporate. Global entered a training MOU with SEED with the primary objective of developing employability skills of the students. The combination of good technical training on cutting edge technologies and soft skill helped student to get best of the career in the field of IT and will create excellent brand value for the college.
  • Profound, Pune -: Profound is a company driven by the agenda to equip students with the right mix of a sound understanding of the fundamentals and a good understanding of the newest in Information Technologies, and further, assessing their proficiency in competence with industry demands, thereby increasing their Employability Quotient. The MOU between Profound and Global aims to bring students and corporate closer through academic partnerships, corporate alliances and student placement drives. Profound specialize in designing courses tailored to meet our student’s specific needs, designed to get results within specific time frame and budget.
  • Synergy Technologies & Campus Connect India, Mumbai -: The Global College entered into a training agreement with Synergy Technologies & Campus Connect India for technical trainings and enhancing Employability skills of the students thus making them Market ready.
  • Vertex Info solution, Chandigarh-: Global entered into MOU with Vertex Info Solutions primarily for the trainings of Core branches software. Vertex provided trainings on STAD Pro, Catia, Auto CAD etc for Mechanical & Civil Engineering branches. Later Vertex provided trainings to CSE & IT students and helped them work on live projects of their respective branches. Global & Vertex helped students earn certain OJTs as well.
  • TITANS Learning-: Global and TITANS learning have entered into an agreement for CRT (Campus Recruitment Trainings). The sole Moto of this training program is to prepare final year students for Campus Interviews and PSU exams. The training includes Aptitude training, Soft Skills training along with various technology specific trainings, Workshops, Company specific problem solving sessions, on line portal solutions and Physcometric Tests etc. The trainers are having a vast experience in their respective field and this MOU has seen a steep rise in the Campus selection ratio of the Institute.
  • TIBCO, Pune-: Global partnered with TIBCO, Pune to participate in TIBCOS’s TRAIN THE TRAINER program. The objective of this program is to focus on areas of programming which are aligned to TIBCO services. It would be extension of existing courses in colleges on Operating system, Database and Java programming. As college faculties are well versed with concepts and also goods hands on these technologies, TIBCO has planned a very hands-on session with case studies from field. The program also includes Overview of TIBCO technologies and case studies.

T & P Cell

The Training and Placement Cell of the institute boasts to have the State of the Art Technology powered with physical and virtual infrastructure that lives up to the requirements of the new age recruiters hunting for talents from nearby to far off places.

The cell provides platform for communication labs, language labs, technology labs, simulation & incubation labs to comply with the quintessential requirements to baptize the future of technocrats with the all necessities of the recruiters.

The Cell has GD halls, conference rooms, computer labs with 64 mbps internet speed to provide with the essentials of modern day needs. The Audio- Visual aids, movie viewing, video conferencing, skype pairing, public address systems are such additions to complement the physical structures raised for T & P purposes. The cell provides for air, rail and road travels for visiting delegations, food & beverage supplies, sight trips besides cozy boarding & lodging facilities.

The cell has a wide array of manpower and machines to facilitate the year around programs of training and periodical placement drives consisting of closed, open and pooled campuses within the city and beyond.

The tie-ups, alliances, in-house operatories, condensed classes, workshops, industrial excursions, live projects, vocational trainings; vocational assignments are the major drivers of our quest to make people employable.

The placement team of Global is an assortment of trained and talented professionals with good industrial and academic credentials in different vertices of business. The team has in-depth expertise in technical, behavioral and professional skills to import to the Undergraduates & Post graduates. Other than the training of the students, the team also works for creating, processing and closing the opportunities of placement in line with the talent that the institute has.

The Placement team members have a wide industrial and academic experience with some leading business groups & institutions. The Team members bring with them to the table the latest know-how, loads of experience, expertise and flexibility to hold hands of the students & the recruiters. The placement cell has the obligation to arrange for correspondence, testing facilities, logistics support and finally ensuring the joining with all formalities.


T & P Activities

The Training & Placement Cell of Global College of Engineering & Management poises to create an effective base since its inception. The Training constitutes of the basic component of the cell which has the onus of making the students employable with an aim to develop them by 360 degrees by taking inputs from industries based on latest demands. To name some of the major efforts which have been taken up on the account of placement, the first exercise starts with invoking of the training need analysis (TNA) and preparing corporate dossier for establishing the selection parameters and understanding the criteria of recruiters. This exercise helps the placement cell to classify the candidates on the basis of the industries to be identified for placements. The placement cell of the institute contacts, proposes, coordinates and receives the companies on the specific dates of conduct of the drive.

Our placement cell, as against the general trend, has been successfully instrumental in bringing Core Mechanical & Electronics Companies for the recruitment of the students. The placement drives so far have testimony to the fact that despite the economic slump we have been able to call the companies for all the Engineering branches including MBA to come and recruit the students on a decent compensation.
The subject teachers, technical staff and external experts are the real agents of change for T & P Cell to make the students understand the changing and demanding paradigm in the world of technology.
