Departmental Profile

In the year 2009, the institute started the “Electronics and Communication Engineering” department for the benefit of students who are keen on knowing subjects from traditional to modern aspects of Electronics. The EC Department has a rich tradition in research and teaching.

The department has expertise in the areas of Optical Fiber Communication, DSP & Embedded systems, Microelectronics, Instrumentation, VLSI, Computer Networking, Information Security, Wireless Communication, Microwave Engineering etc. The department is well equipped with modern laboratory facilities and good infrastructure. The Department has eleven major laboratories supported by latest MATLAB R2019a, Tina-Pro, Microwind, Multisim etc. software tools.

The EC department has separate Tutorial Room, Research and Development Lab, and Project Room. The Department has successfully completed many industrial projects. Indeed, a few members of the teaching faculty publish their researches in international journals time to time

The Department has setup “e-yantra Lab”, sponsored by IIT Bombay and MHRD India. This is the only one Embedded System Lab in all over the Mahakaushal region.
